I was never entirely sure who belonged to what family in this book, but it never really bothered me. I mean, after we switched back to a different group of characters, I was able to reconstruct who they were related to fairly easily, but I never could hold the genealogies in my mind.

I tried to read this 6-7 years ago and the book remains in my shelf, staring accusingly at me. I still intend to read it. One day. :)
Oh dear, 1474 pages!!! Mmmmm......I will reconsider. Unless you can convince me it is really that good.
I did the unthinkable and just ordered this book. 1474 pages, or something, phew! It might take me a year to read. lol.
