I thought that the premise sounded interesting, I like home renovation stories. I remodel homes for a living. I think if it’s done well it can add a lot to the book, but so much of that part of the story was off. But horror part of the story revolves around a YouTube channel. That’s new and interesting, I love YouTube. But that got kind of weird and drifted off and ultimately it’s all the wife’s fault? Things seem to get more complicated as Detective Beaumont investigates the homicide of a high school coach. It’s fun to jump back in time before cellphones and computers. Back when detectives had to go places and talk to people.
