Mr. Seth added much more to the actual theme of 'a suitable boy' with socio-political happenings around 1951-52. A lot of social aspects were widely discussed, but the beauty is it is well researched content. Talking details of shoe making to types of literature across timelines to backstage political happenings of post independence. Overall its a great book, we need to be patient through first 300 pages as there are lot of character introductions and once that settles in stories reveal simultaneously. I suggest you to read the book. (less)
